Emily Freeh has safely arrived from Chicago. She is going to be our business intern. Here is a bit on Emily:
Emily Freeh (Northwestern University, International Development)
Prior to AIDG I studied International Development at Northwestern University and Anthropology at Grinnell College. My interests are in sustainable rural and agricultural development and development economics and policy. I have worked several seasons on organic farms in Mexico, California, Minnesota and Pennsylvania, where I managed a CSA. I plan on beginning my Master’s in Agricultural Economics in Fall ’08. I volunteered for three months in Guatemala in 2003 with ARCAS in Peten and with a special education class in Antigua and look forward to returning.
